Double Gauze :)

Things are slow around here in the sewing department, but just wanted to show you a wonderful delivery I received:

Several yards of Nani Iro double gauze! I purchased this fabric from the online shop Linnie Darling.

I love how delicate the dots look. They have an ethereal, hand-painted quality to them.

A number of Nani Iro double gauze fabrics have areas of concentrated print and areas where the print is "lighter", so to speak. This print has about 30" of concentrated dots with more lightly dotted areas near the selvages. It's a great way of providing depth and variety in your projects. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet - but for now, I'm enjoying looking at it!
