Quilt in Progress: Broken Dash (a modern baby quilt)

Hey all! It's been awhile on my side here, since my house has been undergoing a number of restoration/renovation efforts. But more on that later. I've been piecing up another baby quilt over here from my Broken Dash pattern. Here's the original quilt:

Burning the midnight gin tonight for a much needed sewing marathon! I didn't have enough of a single fabric for a good background choice, so I pulled out several prints with a white background. After taking this photo, I had to pull yet another one to get the full three yards I needed! I thought they looked like they belonged together well enough to go for a scrappy background with a single black accent fabric. It's definitely busier than my usual work, so I'm curious to see what I will think when it's all put together! I am really loving the black and white right now :)
