Diamonds & Emeralds I: A Finished Quilt from Paper Pieced Modern

Today I'm over at C&T's blog talking about the first quilt in this book - Diamonds & Emeralds I. I made this quilt originally for the Madrona Road challenge, then I remade it for the book - and really don't care for the remake:

It's fine, it's just not me. At ALL.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make it a third time, soooo....it's immortalized in the book. Sigh. Anyway. Just thought I'd share that tidbit with you because you might be able to relate - frustration with a quilt that just doesn't turn out how you'd like it to!
