My mom took me fabric shopping the other week. Basically, the best kind of shopping!

What's that, you say? You thought I was a modern quilter? Well.....unless it's for a baby girl quilt. Then I can't resist calicos and roses :)

My husband bought me this gorgeous cake stand for my birthday. I'm supposed to display my earrings on it, but I must say, it looks pretty darn good with fabric.

I see a lot of photobombing in its future :)
