A Lovely Year of Finishes: Feb Goals
For February, I'm planning on making a cowgirl baby quilt for my friend who rides horses. Her baby's due in two weeks, so we'll see what arrives at her doorstep first! (Oh if only babies just did show up on doorsteps from the stork....)
I started cutting out yesterday - so pumped! I'm going to make a quilt with butterfly blocks. You can see the butterfly blocks here at Red Pepper Quilts. Here are my wing fabrics:
The brown fabric has stars, cowboy hats and boots, and pink horses while the gray fabric has little pink western scenes - omg I die from the cuteness!!!
The butterfly "bodies" will be made from some adorable pink gingham, cut on the bias.
Yes. Too cute.
Sorry for the not so amazing pictures - it's been pretty gray here in the midwest!
My second goal for February - finish all the blocks for the Something New Sampler. I'm on it :)
