Purple + Mustard
One of my "three things" for August was the Dresden Challenge...but after a lot of hemming and hawing, I decided against it. It was becoming a huge chore to try to come up with something and there was no joy in it - so why do it? Sorry 18 degree wedges, you are not my thing! And I realized that I could do so many other things and was very happy. What to do, what to do? So I pulled out my pile of purples and mustards that I've been accruing and set to work with my rotary cutter.
I'm working on some patchy purple blocks with a touch. In the background - and below - you can see a hint of the mustard 9 patches I've made to alternate with the purple blocks. Eek! I'm so excited; I love purple and good purples are so hard to come by, so I usually don't make a lot of things with them. Will update more soon :)
