Finished project!
It's been awhile since I've had a project finished! When I was looking through my stash, I found these fabrics...
...which reminded me that I never finished the pillow I was making with them!
Awhile ago, I was trying to decide on a pattern to use for the guest bedroom quilt. I pitched a few ideas, and my husband liked the look of cathedral windows. Since they looked time consuming, I figured I'd try a small project with them first.
I finished the pillow top, but it sat around unfinished for months - until yesterday! I rallied and finished it into a pillow with an envelope back:

While I like the results a lot, I wasn't a big fan of how many hours of ironing were required for this kind of piecing. I like sewing. Not ironing. So, alas, the full size quilt will not end up being cathedral windows!
