Stashing: Pistachios by Lovely & Enough

This post is a part of the Up & Coming Series. For more information, click here. Last week, Craft Buds & I got to reveal our first Up & Coming Designer - Kelsey Boes of Lovely & Enough. What do you guys think? She was one of the first designers I stumbled across while I was digging for screen-printing textile artists, and I'm slightly obsessed. Slightly.

In order to show you just how awesome these fabrics are, I get to put together a few additional posts showing you just how I would use her fabrics. First up is a stashing post.

I don't know about you, but shopping is expensive, and sometimes reworking piles in my stash can provide the thrill minus the pricetag! Kelsey provided me with a fat quarter of her Pistachios print in charcoal to start off with. I chose that print & color specifically because of how versatile it is. Here are some of the fabric pulls I came up with, using her fabric as the inspiration print:

First up, I added it to my nautical prints I've been hoarding. It plays quite nicely with them, don't you think?

And you guys know that I would have to put it with some masculine prints. I'm sooooo predictable :P (PS, that Essex Linen is Flax!)

One thing I wasn't expecting was how well it worked with funkier prints (both above and below). It managed to hold its own quite well, which was a pleasant surprise. I would say these fabric pulls are more out of my comfort zone. I do like how they look, but I wouldn't really know how to use them well. (This is your cue to beg for me to mail them to you. Lol.)

Lastly, I decided to mix it with a stack of all solids:

{You can find more details about these solids in this stashing post.}

Now. What fabrics did I miss? What fabrics in your stash would look good with this guy? (I didn't try out any Carolyn Friedlander because, ya know, I wouldn't want to bore you guys with my repetitiveness, but I bet her fabrics would pair well!)

Giveaway time! Kelsey is hosting a giveaway today; hop on over to enter!
